JumpDrive Secure is a software application that comes pre-loaded on the JumpDrive Secure allowing you to password protect files that are stored on the JumpDrive itself. It enables you to divide your JumpDrive into two different areas, or zones. The public zone has no password protection and is accessible by anyone using your JumpDrive. The private zone is password-protected so no one can open,
copy or write files to it without entering the correct password. We go one step further than just password protecting your data, we also encrypt your data with
256-AES encryption.

Not a bad device, sturdy, large storage capacity...especially with the secure option of password protecting your files. The only issue I had with it is that I use alot of community computers, ie: computers setup by the bioengineering graduate student department in which many users log in...not as ''administrators''. The Lexar secure program DOES NOT RUN if you're not considered an ''administrator'' of the computer, and you cannot access your private files.

This is a great drive. It is fast and easy to use. It is a little higher in price than some similar drives but it is very dependable.

LOVE this drive! I work in a number of different roles and switch between multiple PCs. It's got enough space to cart around hi-res images and multiple large files.
Initially, I didn't like the separate cap because I was concerned I might lose it. But I found it helpful as a reminder to grab my jump drive before heading out of the office or studio.

This flash drive has worked great for me. It is easy to partition and use. I actually managed to make it unreadable by attempting to use it with my xbox even though I knew it might mess up. However, Lexar was great at helping me find the problem and instructing me how to fix it. It's been working great for several months now.

My only complaint is that the cap is not tight enough. it fell off and i lost it iommediately.
